Erik Mermet

Erik is a seasoned business development professional, he brings nearly two decades of global capital-raising experience across institutional and private wealth client segments in EMEA, North America, and Asia. Throughout his career, he has built businesses from the ground up, secured large-scale mandates, and driven strategic initiatives in private markets and alternative investments.

Most recently, Erik served as Head of Business Development at Goanna Capital, a global private markets firm, where he played a key role in fundraising across funds and co-investments, expanding the investor base to include institutions, family offices, and HNWIs, and strengthening global distribution partnerships. Prior to this, he held senior positions at Sarasin & Partners, Lombard Odier, and Deutsche Bank, where he developed deep relationships with pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, consultants, and UHNWIs, consistently delivering innovative fundraising strategies and securing competitive mandates across asset classes.
