Alex is an accomplished leader in private credit, banking, corporate finance, and venture capital, with over two decades of experience spanning Europe, the United States, and Asia-Pacific.
Most recently, he served as Managing Director at the Dragon Fund, where he was instrumental in building the platform, leading investments, and driving the firm’s expansion across the UK, Europe, and APAC. Prior to this, he played a pivotal role in establishing and scaling MARS Growth into a $1 billion private credit firm.
Earlier in his career, Alex held senior leadership positions at MUFG, ANZ, and ABN AMRO, where he consistently delivered results through strategic client coverage, innovative structuring, and complex cross-border deal execution. In addition, he has been an early stage founder and investor for over a decade, and currently serves on the advisory board of a leading AI-driven market intelligence company.
From the startup trenches to investment committees, his experience as founder, lender, and investor across multiple regions, gives him a truly holistic perspective in working with founders.
Outside work I enjoy
staying active through many forms of exercise, music, crypto and cars, and I try to keep a lot of quality time for my wife and two children. I am also a huge advocate of the UK innovation ecosystem, so spend time coaching founders and building, especially in the AI space.
